On July 1, CMS announced significant proposed changes in radiation oncology reimbursement. If approved, the American Society for Radiation Oncology has predicted a reduction of about 20 percent for radiation oncologists in 2010. Some of the major changes in the 2010 proposed Physicians’ Fee Schedule include:
-A reduction of the conversion factor of 21.5 percent (from $36.066 to $28.3208)
-A reduction in the practice expense and malpractice values
-A modification in the equipment utilization rate (for equipment over $1 million) from 50 percent to 90 percent; which will cut the technical component for IMRT services by as much as 40 percent
This could mean a melt-down for physician-based reimbursement. Meanwhile, hospital-based reimbursement for outpatient radiation therapy is expected to increase.

Really well-written article. I'm jealous I didn't think of the topic. But yeah, the bowl games are really for the big games... everything else is just another way to suck the blood out of these kids and samll universities. Kinda sad.
But if you ARE going to go and get tickets, you might as well find yourself the best deal. I found this really cool website when digging around for tix to my game:

I loved the kettle caramel flavor, so did my boyfriend. The popcorn is crunchy since it is covered with caramel. It sounds wierd but it is worth the try!Check these guys out for really good, and unique, flavors. The cheese course duo is one of my favorites, but I've liked everything I've tried. Too bad they're in Scottsdale. Time for a trip back.
