(ACR), the nation's leading organization representing radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, and medical physicists, has launched its ACR Campus e-learning initiative on Isoph Blue, LearnSomething's flagship learning management platform. The Campus, accessible at http://campus.acr.org/acr , firmly establishes ACR as the premier provider of online radiology education in the country.
The ACR Campus addresses the continuing medical education needs of radiologists by offering programs in many of the subspecialties of radiology. "Through the innovative online learning opportunities on the ACR Campus we continue to show the ACR's dedication to offering effective, convenient self- assessment and continuing medical education options," said ACR Assistant Executive Director Ann Rosser. "The Isoph Blue platform provides the sophisticated learning technologies we need to integrate a wide range of high- quality educational content and make it accessible for our members in a single online location."
ACR Campus gives learners the ability to:
-- Access cutting-edge learning opportunities 24 hours a day
-- View a personal online education profile
-- Purchase and claim CME and SAM credit
In addition to providing a vibrant online learning destination for radiology professionals, ACR Campus is fully integrated with TIMSS and TIMSS Commerce Management System (TCMS) from TMA Resources (TMAR), ACR's provider for membership management software. Learners who log in through TIMSS are automatically recognized in the Isoph Blue system through use of TMAR's single sign-on (SSO) utility; courses are purchased in a unified TCMS shopping cart environment along with other ACR products; and key course completion, credit, and certification data are seamlessly exchanged between the learning management and membership management databases via Web services.
